NEWS : This Brazilian Startup Plans to Challenge Uber in Rio

Brazilian ride-hailing application 99 said on Monday it was presenting its markdown 99POP administration in Rio de Janeiro, growing direct rivalry with opponent Uber Technologies in Latin America's biggest economy. 

99, which began almost five years prior with a taxicab hailing application called 99Taxis, started offering 99POP rides utilizing common autos in August in Brazil's greatest city, São Paulo.

The administration's development to Rio is a piece of a system financed by more than $100 million of speculation drove by Chinese ride-hailing organization Didi Chuxing, 99 Communications Director Matheus Moraes said in a discharge.
